The Victorian 4 Column cast iron radiator at 935mm height (V4-93) is a tall, substantial radiator section suited to rooms with higher ceilings or where a large heat emitter is required. The four-column format replicates the original Victorian and Edwardian cast iron radiator profile — the same pattern installed throughout period houses, public buildings, churches, and institutions from the 1880s through the Edwardian era. At 935mm, this is one of the taller standard heights in the Victorian range.
This variant is supplied in white primer — ready for on-site painting in the owner’s or specifier’s chosen colour. The primer finish gives maximum flexibility for those wishing to match a specific interior colour scheme or apply a heritage finish such as linseed oil paint.
Supply and assembly: Supplied in individual sections. Available pre-assembled up to 20 sections ready for installation. Supplied as a floor-standing version with integrated feet as standard — the wall-mounted only version must be requested at time of order. The radiator is supplied with ½” connections. Valves are not included and must be purchased separately if required.
Feet positions: Up to 20 sections — 2 feet, one at each end. Odd numbers 21–39 sections — 3 feet, one at each end and one centrally. Even numbers 22–40 sections — 4 feet, one at each end and 2 evenly spaced. Wall bracket requirements increase proportionally for larger radiators.

When describing modern materials, the term ‘cost effective’ is used rather than simply saying cheap. There is no doubt that the initial cost of many modern materials is less than cast iron but you might be surprised to know that over its lifespan, cast iron will cost around a third of plastic.

Cast iron hopper heads are the historically appropriate choice for listed buildings, and are generally preferred by conservation officers and local planning authorities over modern plastic alternatives. Tuscan Foundry cast iron hopper heads are manufactured in solid grey iron and are suitable for use on listed buildings and within conservation areas. A linseed oil finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for sensitive heritage projects.
The School Board Airbrick (F020801AFC) is available in three standard sizes: 225mm × 75mm, 225mm × 150mm, and 225mm × 225mm. These correspond to one-, two-, and three-brick-course heights and allow ventilation requirements to be met across a range of subfloor and wall opening sizes.

A hit and miss vent has a sliding plate on the reverse of the grille that can be moved to open or close the ventilation apertures. This allows airflow to be regulated without removing or replacing the grille. The vent can be fully open, partially open, or fully closed depending on ventilation requirements.
The H460 accepts round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, and 100mm diameters. Square pipe connections are available in 75×75mm, 100×100mm, and 125×125mm. Rectangular connections include 100×75mm, 125×100mm, and 150×100mm options. Connection type is selected at the point of order.
