The Victorian 4 Column cast iron radiator at 636mm height (V4-63) is a mid-height radiator suited to rooms where height below windows is limited, or where a more compact radiator is required. The four-column profile is true to period originals and is the appropriate specification for listed buildings and conservation projects where the radiator type is part of the heritage interior.
This variant is supplied in white primer — ready for on-site painting in any specified colour. The primer finish is particularly appropriate for heritage conservation projects where an authentic colour or finish will be applied on site.
Supply and assembly: Supplied in individual sections. Available pre-assembled up to 20 sections ready for installation. Supplied as a floor-standing version with integrated feet as standard — the wall-mounted only version must be requested at time of order. The radiator is supplied with ½” connections. Valves are not included and must be purchased separately if required.
Feet positions: Up to 20 sections — 2 feet, one at each end. Odd numbers 21–39 sections — 3 feet, one at each end and one centrally. Even numbers 22–40 sections — 4 feet, one at each end and 2 evenly spaced. Wall bracket requirements increase proportionally for larger radiators.

Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building grades. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.
Yes. All our mild steel brackets are supplied in either silver or black zinc plate. This coating protects the metal however, both will need painting prior to installation.
We have chosen to use zinc plating for two reasons; firstly that it is a more environmentally friendly than galvanising and secondly that it does not block up the threaded part of the rise and fall cups in the way that galvanising does.
Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations. We recommend confirming the pattern with your conservation officer as part of any listed building consent application.

A hit and miss vent has a sliding plate on the back of the grille that can be opened, partially restricted, or closed entirely without removing the vent from the wall. This allows airflow to be controlled from inside the building, making it suitable for underfloor void ventilation and through-wall ventilation where adjustable airflow is needed.
