The Building Restoration Index is a free reference directory of trades, specialists and suppliers who work on historic, listed, period and traditional buildings across the UK. It is maintained by Tuscan Foundry Products, a supplier of cast iron rainwater systems to the conservation sector since 1893, as a practical starting point for anyone planning repairs or restoration.
It is intended for building owners, architects, surveyors, conservation officers, contractors and restoration professionals. Entries cover the building fabric – masonry, lime, timber, roofing and rainwater goods – as well as windows and joinery, interiors, materials suppliers, professional services and heritage organisations.
Each entry gives a short description, the services or products offered, a base location and a link to the business’s own website. Please check suitability, availability, credentials and project requirements directly with each business before appointing them; the Index is a guide to who does what, not a substitute for your own enquiries.
