Tuscan EN877 Soil is a socketless cast iron soil, waste and rainwater system made to BS EN 877. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with stainless steel or ductile iron couplings, giving a slim, continuous line on a façade or in a service riser. Cast iron is non-combustible, quiet in use and very long-lived. That is why it remains the specification of choice for heritage buildings, tall stacks, and anywhere acoustic performance or fire safety matters.
An 88° long radius bend with a bolted access door. The large radius keeps flow smooth and the door gives rodding access at the bend.
Available in 2 sizes, from 100mm to 150mm. Nominal weights run from 7.3 kg (100mm) to 12.7 kg (150mm).
Typical use: The foot of soil stacks and other changes of direction that need both a sweeping bend and access.

The H542A measures 240mm wide x 240mm deep x 290mm high, making it well suited to a compact square profile suited to smaller Georgian and Victorian properties, extensions and outbuildings.
Size selection depends on the distance between the mounting point and the rooflight frame, and the desired throw (opening distance). Our telescopic openers are available in 150mm, 250mm, and 300mm; the screw-jack stay is available in 300mm with a 250mm throw. Yes. Cast iron ornamental vents in period patterns are frequently specified on listed buildings and conservation area properties as like-for-like replacements for original Victorian ironwork. Conservation officers generally accept cast iron in period patterns without objection. We can supply specifications to support planning and listed building consent applications.
The Iron Works Patterned Hit & Miss Vents are available in two sizes: 225mm × 82mm (single-course, suitable for standard airbrick positions) and 225mm × 150mm (double-course format). Both sizes are available in all three finishes: Antique Black, Polished Lacquered, and Polished Brass.
