Tuscan EN877 Drain is a socketless cast iron drainage system made to BS EN 877, for below-ground drainage and suspended drainage runs in basements, undercrofts and plant areas. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted couplings. The result is a rigid, non-combustible system that resists crushing and root ingress, and copes with the loads found under buildings and hard landscaping.
A 45° branch with two inlets on opposite sides, so two connections can enter the run at the same point.
Available in 4 sizes, from 100mm × 100mm to 200mm × 200mm. Nominal weights run from 5.7 kg (100mm × 100mm) to 21 kg (200mm × 200mm).
Typical use: Appliances on opposite sides of a stack, or two drains joining a run at one junction.

Both inlets on this fitting are the sizes shown in the table. For one smaller connection, use a single branch with a boss or a taper on that inlet.

A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.

Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.
Yes. Traditional cast iron column radiators are the authentic choice for period interiors, and plain patterns such as the Victorian 4 column are usually preferred by conservation officers. Replacing radiators or altering pipe runs in a listed building may need listed building consent, so speak to the conservation officer before work starts.
Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building grades. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.
