Tuscan EN877 Drain is a socketless cast iron drainage system made to BS EN 877, for below-ground drainage and suspended drainage runs in basements, undercrofts and plant areas. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted couplings. The result is a rigid, non-combustible system that resists crushing and root ingress, and copes with the loads found under buildings and hard landscaping.
A taper pipe that joins two different diameters in the same run.
Available in 9 sizes, from 150mm × 100mm to 300mm × 250mm. Nominal weights run from 2.4 kg (150mm × 100mm) to 9.9 kg (300mm × 250mm).
Typical use: Changing pipe size within a stack or drain, or connecting to an existing pipe of a different size.

By the two diameters it joins, larger first. A 100mm × 50mm taper joins a 100mm pipe to a 50mm pipe.
A drain should not reduce in the direction of flow. Tapers are normally used to increase size downstream, or to connect a smaller branch drain.

The Brass Rooflight Opener Handle 1520mm is a pole-operated handle designed for manual rooflight opening mechanisms. It is suitable for use with Lumen Rooflights and compatible timber-framed skylights, and is particularly appropriate for period and heritage properties where a brass finish is specified.
The standards for our cast iron gutters and pipes have remained remarkably constant for many years. The physical properties of cast iron are sustained throughout its lifetime thus maintaining its effectiveness. Coupled with is durability and proper maintenance, we would expect our traditional cast iron rainwater products to last for over 50 years under normal conditions.
Hopper heads are supplied in red oxide primer ready for on-site painting, or pre-finished in black. A full range of Heritage Colours in traditional linseed oil paint is also available on request — please contact us for the swatch chart.
Yes. Cast iron airbricks are frequently specified for listed buildings and conservation area properties precisely because they replicate the material and pattern of the original Victorian and Edwardian ventilation grilles. Local conservation officers and building control typically accept like-for-like cast iron replacements without objection. We can provide product specifications and material datasheets to support applications.
The Pultney Tapered Hopper Head is available in three pipe connection sizes: 65mm (2.5"), 75mm (3"), and 100mm (4"). Each size connects directly to matching cast iron downpipes via spigot and socket. Compatible downpipe codes are: 65mm — RH025, XRH025; 75mm — RH03, XRH03; 100mm — RH04, XRH04.
