Tuscan EN877 Drain is a socketless cast iron drainage system made to BS EN 877, for below-ground drainage and suspended drainage runs in basements, undercrofts and plant areas. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted couplings. The result is a rigid, non-combustible system that resists crushing and root ingress, and copes with the loads found under buildings and hard landscaping.
A push-fit coupling that joins pipe and fittings without bolts. The pipe ends are lubricated and pushed home into the coupling’s sealing rings.
Available in 2 sizes, from 100mm to 150mm. Nominal weights run from 1.5 kg (100mm) to 2 kg (150mm).
Typical use: Quick assembly where joints will not be under internal pressure.

Push fit joints rely on friction and support, so brackets must hold each length and fitting securely. Where a joint could be pushed apart, use a pipe grip or a bolted coupling.

Yes. Cast iron airbricks are the appropriate material for listed buildings and conservation area properties where the original ventilation grilles were cast iron. They maintain the character and material authenticity required by most conservation officers and listed building consent conditions. We recommend confirming the specific pattern with your conservation officer before ordering.
The School Board Airbrick suits Victorian and Edwardian institutional, civic, and residential buildings where the square-grid airbrick pattern was standard — including school buildings, civic halls, estate housing, terrace houses, and warehouses. It is also appropriate on listed buildings and conservation area properties as a like-for-like replacement for worn square-grid cast iron vents.
