Tuscan EN877 Soil is a socketless cast iron soil, waste and rainwater system made to BS EN 877. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with stainless steel or ductile iron couplings, giving a slim, continuous line on a façade or in a service riser. Cast iron is non-combustible, quiet in use and very long-lived. That is why it remains the specification of choice for heritage buildings, tall stacks, and anywhere acoustic performance or fire safety matters.
A one-piece offset that steps the run sideways by 130mm. It replaces two bends and a short pipe, so there are fewer joints.
Available in 3 sizes, from 50mm to 100mm. Nominal weights run from 1.4 kg (50mm) to 3.8 kg (100mm).
Typical use: Stepping a stack around a plinth, string course or other projection on the face of a building.
| Size | Product code | Nominal weight |
|---|---|---|
| 50mm | HS2045 | 1.4 kg |
| 70mm | HS3045 | 2.3 kg |
| 100mm | HS4045 | 3.8 kg |
Often used with: 15° Short Radius Bend, Double Spigot Pipe 3m, Rapid Connect Coupling, Heavy Duty Bossed Pipe Bracket.

It is available in 50mm (HS2045), 70mm (HS3045), 100mm (HS4045).
Measure how far the stack must step out, from the face of the wall line above to the line below. If no standard offset suits, two bends with a cut pipe between them can make any projection.

The Gothic foliate tracery design of the Ornamental Airbrick provides a good free-flow ventilation area relative to its face size. The open area is comparable to other standard cast iron airbrick patterns. The visual density of the pattern at a distance reads as solid ironwork, which suits formal and decorative elevations without compromising subfloor ventilation effectiveness.
