The Square Pipe Plinth Offset 135° is a short, compact offset used to carry a square downpipe out over a projecting plinth, base course or string course near ground level. Its 135 degree sets keep the change of line neat and close to the wall.

Projections of 75mm, 115mm and 150mm suit most plinth details. The head has the moulded socket band of the square range and is available with an integral fixing ear, or plain for runs fixed with holderbats or earbands.

Plinth offsets are typical at the base of Georgian and Victorian facades where a stone or brick plinth projects beyond the wall above, and are often used just above the shoe at the foot of the run.

All fittings in our square range are cast iron to BS 460:2002, made to the same moulded profile so pipes and fittings line up neatly on the elevation. Every fitting is supplied either in primer, ready for painting on site, or in factory black. For listed buildings and conservation areas we also offer hand-applied linseed oil paint in heritage colours, which stays breathable and flexible and is straightforward to maintain. Stocked items are usually dispatched within 5 to 7 working days; allow around 6 to 7 weeks where a linseed oil finish is specified.

Square pipe sizes: 75mm x 75mm (3″ x 3″) and 100mm x 100mm (4″ x 4″).

Suitable for listed buildings, conservation areas and heritage restoration. For specification support or a project quotation, call 0333 987 4452.

Is the Ornamental Airbrick appropriate for a Grade II listed building?

Is the Ornamental Airbrick appropriate for a Grade II listed building?

Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations. We recommend confirming the pattern with your conservation officer as part of any listed building consent application.

What is a corner hopper head and when do I need one?

A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.
