The TX Single Radius Curve Branch with 2″ Boss combines a swept curve branch junction with an integral 2″ BSPT threaded boss on the branch — allowing a smaller-diameter waste connection (such as a basin or bath overflow) to connect directly to the boss whilst the main branch serves a larger appliance. All spigot ends connect via TX push-fit sockets.

Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.

Linseed oil paint is the most appropriate finish for cast iron guttering on listed and historic buildings. It is breathable, flexible, and penetrating — qualities that suit the movement characteristics of cast iron through seasonal temperature changes. Tuscan Foundry Products offers a curated range of heritage linseed oil colours. For modern applications, a high-quality exterior oil-based paint system over a metal primer is also acceptable.
Victorian properties most commonly used Ogee (OG) gutter profiles, including the standard Cast Iron Ogee and the G46 Moulded Ogee. Half Round guttering was also widely used, particularly in the later Victorian period. The correct profile depends on what is already present on the building — we recommend inspecting any surviving sections and matching the profile, size, and socket direction exactly. We supply 19 standard gutter profiles and can copy-cast any non-standard profile from a drawing, photograph, or physical sample.
A pole winder opener has a fixed-length arm, making it suited to standard rooflight positions with a consistent throw. The louvre face provides directional airflow and offers some resistance to driven rain entering the subfloor void, making it a practical choice for exposed elevations or properties in areas with significant prevailing wind and rainfall. The square-grid (school board) pattern offers a larger open ventilation area but less weather protection.

The satin chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder is well suited to contemporary and transitional interiors where a brushed chrome finish complements modern or minimal ironmongery. It is compatible with Lumen Rooflights and timber-framed skylights.
Our cast iron airbricks are available in three standard sizes: 225mm × 75mm (single course), 225mm × 150mm (double course), and 225mm × 225mm (square format).
