Push Fit Coupling

£34.00 – £40.70Price range: £34.00 through £40.70 ex VAT (£40.80 – £48.84 inc VAT)

The Traditional Express cast iron soil system is a push-fit system that gives the appearance of a traditional cast iron soil stack, suitable for listed properties and conservation projects.

Clear

UK delivery from £30. Fittings are despatched boxed. See delivery rates.

The TX push-fit coupling joins two socketless Traditional Express pipes or fittings end to end, using rubber gaskets to make a push-fit seal on each side.

It is used where a joint is needed without a socket, to connect two cut lengths, to insert a fitting into an existing run, or to repair a damaged section of stack. Unlike a push-fit socket, the coupling is not fixed to the wall; support the pipe on each side with brackets.

Available in 50mm and 100mm to suit the Traditional Express range. Use the TX lubricant on spigot ends to ease assembly. Pre-painted black gloss finish.

Suitable for listed buildings and conservation area work. For specification advice, a full schedule or a quotation, call 0333 987 4452 or use the contact form.

What is LCC cast iron soil pipe?

What is LCC cast iron soil pipe?

LCC is traditional cast iron socket-and-spigot soil pipe made to BS 416-1:1990. Each length has a socket at one end and a spigot at the other, and joints are packed with caulking cord and finished with a jointing sealant. It is supplied with a black bitumen coating and is the like-for-like choice for external soil stacks on Victorian and Edwardian buildings. See the Traditional LCC range.

Which Bracket Should I Use?

Which Bracket Should I Use?

We manufacture a wide variety of brackets for many different cast iron gutter and pipe profiles. More common types are the rise and fall, top fix and side fix rafter and the holderbat or pipe clip.

We can also offer traditional drive brackets, repair brackets and fascia brackets in both steel and cast iron.

It is always advisable to replace like with like because quite often the brackets form and important part of the buildings architecture. Occasionally buildings have special decorative brackets and our UK manufacturing allows us to produce small quantities of bespoke brackets when required.
