The Belmont No.97C is the corner form of our No.97 pattern: a plain, canted head drawn to seat properly where two elevations meet at an internal angle.
The body is square with the corners cut back, capped by a simple moulded top edge and tapering cleanly to the outlet. There is no applied ornament. Because the casting is symmetrical about its diagonal, it beds into a re-entrant angle without packing, modification or an awkward gap behind.
Corners are where rainwater goes wrong on older buildings. Two roof slopes discharge to a single point, the masonry there is often permanently shaded and slow to dry, and the junction is difficult to reach for inspection. Getting adequate capacity into that position, in a casting made for it, is straightforward preventive work.
It suits period domestic and estate buildings, courtyards, rear and service elevations, and any scheme where the corner needs solving quietly rather than decoratively.
Cast in solid iron to BS 460:2002, supplied in primer or black as standard, with heritage colours and traditional linseed oil finishes available on request.
Pipe connections: 65mm, 75mm and 100mm round; 75×75mm, 100×100mm and 125×125mm square; 100×75mm, 125×100mm and 150×125mm rectangular.
Suitable for listed buildings and conservation areas. Corner positions often warrant a site survey before specification. Call 0333 987 4452.

Yes. Bespoke copy casting is a core service at Tuscan Foundry Products. We can replicate any cast iron gutter, downpipe, hopper head, or fitting from drawings, detailed photographs, or a physical sample or surviving section. Each commission is assessed individually. Lead time is typically 8 to 10 weeks, and quantities as low as a single piece can be considered depending on pattern-making costs.
The Ornamental Airbrick (OAB) is available in three sizes: 225mm × 75mm (2.8kg), 225mm × 150mm (4.1kg), and 225mm × 225mm (5.8kg). All sizes have a uniform depth of 75mm, making them consistent to install across a subfloor ventilation course.

Yes. Churches and ecclesiastical buildings are one of our most common project types. We regularly supply large sand cast gutters, rectangular and square downpipes, and bespoke hopper heads for church restorations. Many churches have non-standard profiles that require copy casting. We work directly with architects, church fabric advisors, and quinquennial inspection surveyors. Historic England and many Diocesan Advisory Committees specify cast iron as the appropriate material for listed ecclesiastical buildings.
The right size depends on the width of your gutter run and the volume of water you need to collect. The Strayton H42A is available in four widths: 305mm (12"), 355mm (14"), 457mm (18"), and 610mm (24"). As a general guide, wider hoppers suit larger roof areas and heavier rainfall zones. If you are unsure, our team can advise based on your gutter profile and catchment area — call 0333 987 4452.
