The Nouveau is a cast iron column radiator with a distinctive scrolled relief and Victoriana-inspired surface pattern, giving it a visual presence that most modern radiators cannot match. The decorative relief pattern transforms the Nouveau from a functional heating appliance into a room feature — it is as much a piece of period ironwork as it is a radiator. Particularly suited to Victorian, Edwardian, and Arts and Crafts interiors where original cast iron radiators would have been specified.
The 950mm height gives the Nouveau significant visual presence and heat output per section — a taller radiator suitable for rooms with higher ceilings or where a more substantial installation is required. Supplied in gunmetal primer finish, ready for painting in any specified colour. Maximum deliverable length is 10 sections; larger radiators can be built on site by joining sections.
Cast iron radiators heat rooms by radiation and convection from the high-mass iron sections, providing an even, comfortable warmth that is slow to cool and avoids the dry-air effect associated with forced-air heating systems.

It is also widely specified for new-build heritage projects where cast iron rainwater goods are required to conservation standard.
Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.
Our hopper heads are available with a wide range of pipe connections to suit round, square, and rectangular downpipes. The Calnethorpe No.11 accepts round 65mm, 75mm, and 100mm; square 75×75mm, 100×100mm, and 125×125mm; and rectangular 100×75mm, 125×100mm, and 150×100mm. Connection options vary by model — please contact us to confirm availability for your chosen hopper.
The H540 measures 600mm wide x 340mm deep x 475mm high, making it well suited to substantial country houses, civic and ecclesiastical buildings.
Hopper heads are supplied in red oxide primer ready for on-site painting, or pre-finished in black. A full range of Heritage Colours in traditional linseed oil paint is also available on request — please contact us for the swatch chart.

Cast iron hopper heads from Tuscan Foundry are available in Standard Black (a factory-applied primer and topcoat finish) and Heritage Colours. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, providing a vapour-permeable, historically authentic coating that is particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.
