The Tuscan Mechanical BS416 Soil range is a coupling-jointed cast iron soil and waste system, dimensionally compatible with BS 416 pipework. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted ductile iron couplings, so there are no caulked or sealed sockets. A stack goes together quickly, and individual fittings can be taken out later without disturbing the rest of the run. Conversion couplings join it to existing socketed LCC pipe, which makes it a practical choice for repairs and extensions to older stacks as well as new work.
A coupling that joins the plain end of the mechanical system to traditional socketed LCC soil pipe. The 70mm size suits 65mm LCC and the 100mm size suits 90mm LCC.
Available in 2 sizes, from 70mm to 100mm. Nominal weights run from 0.9 kg (70mm) to 1.2 kg (100mm).
Typical use: Replacing damaged sections of an old socketed soil stack without rebuilding the whole run.

Yes. Cast iron ornamental vents in period patterns are frequently specified on listed buildings and conservation area properties as like-for-like replacements for original Victorian ironwork. Our cast iron airbricks are supplied in primed finish, ready for on-site painting. This allows them to be finished to match the existing ironwork or masonry colour of the building. Standard black gloss is the most common finish for conservation and heritage projects.
