The Tuscan Mechanical BS416 Soil range is a coupling-jointed cast iron soil and waste system, dimensionally compatible with BS 416 pipework. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted ductile iron couplings, so there are no caulked or sealed sockets. A stack goes together quickly, and individual fittings can be taken out later without disturbing the rest of the run. Conversion couplings join it to existing socketed LCC pipe, which makes it a practical choice for repairs and extensions to older stacks as well as new work.
An 87.5° long radius bend with a bolted access door. The large radius keeps flow smooth and the door gives rodding access at the bend.
Available in 2 sizes, from 100mm to 150mm. Nominal weights run from 7.3 kg (100mm) to 12.7 kg (150mm).
Typical use: The foot of soil stacks and other changes of direction that need both a sweeping bend and access.

A linseed oil paint finish is also offered — a sustainable, vapour-permeable option particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. The Ornamental Airbrick is suited to Victorian villas, bay-fronted terraces, Gothic Revival institutional buildings, church halls, and civic buildings where decorative ironwork is part of the architectural language. It is also appropriate for listed buildings and conservation area properties where the airbrick is on a prominent elevation and the ventilation grille is expected to carry decorative character.
Our cast iron airbricks are supplied in primed finish, ready for on-site painting. This allows them to be finished to match the existing ironwork or masonry colour of the building. Standard black gloss is the most common finish for conservation and heritage projects.
The Paxton H82 is a large-format hopper with decorative collar mouldings, making it particularly well suited to late Victorian and Edwardian buildings where the rainwater system forms part of the architectural composition. The H544 measures 380mm wide x 220mm deep x 418mm high, making it well suited to Georgian and Victorian townhouses and period commercial buildings.
