Tuscan EN877 Drain is a socketless cast iron drainage system made to BS EN 877, for below-ground drainage and suspended drainage runs in basements, undercrofts and plant areas. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted couplings. The result is a rigid, non-combustible system that resists crushing and root ingress, and copes with the loads found under buildings and hard landscaping.

Available in 5 sizes, from 100mm to 300mm. Nominal weights run from 1.6 kg (100mm) to 17 kg (300mm).

A long radius bend is usually preferred there because it reduces back pressure and the risk of blockage. Short radius bends suit set-offs, branches and waste or vent runs.
Yes. Two matching bends with a short length of pipe between them step a run sideways. For common projections a ready-made offset fitting saves the extra joints.

Yes. Cast iron ornamental vents in period patterns are frequently specified on listed buildings and conservation area properties as like-for-like replacements for original Victorian ironwork. Victorian properties most commonly used Ogee (OG) gutter profiles, including the standard Cast Iron Ogee and the G46 Moulded Ogee. Half Round guttering was also widely used, particularly in the later Victorian period. The correct profile depends on what is already present on the building — we recommend inspecting any surviving sections and matching the profile, size, and socket direction exactly. We supply 19 standard gutter profiles and can copy-cast any non-standard profile from a drawing, photograph, or physical sample.

Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available with 65mm, 75mm and 100mm round outlets, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm square outlets, and 100x75mm, 125x100mm and 150x125mm rectangular outlets, to match the downpipe already on site or specified for the project.
The in-house Premier Extra coating is formulated for a life expectancy of around 10 years under normal weather conditions, provided any impact damage or surface scuffing is made good promptly.
