H25S – Large sand cast socket and spigot box guttering.
This large cast iron box gutter is suitable for larger
buildings and industrial and railway heritage projects, and is available in
the following sizes:
150 x 150mm
The TFH25S is a large sand cast socket and spigot box gutter in the 150×150mm size — a square-sectioned profile providing substantial drainage capacity in a form suited to parapet gutters, valley gutters, and other applications where a concealed or near-flush cast iron gutter is required rather than an exposed decorative profile.
The 150×150mm section makes the TFH25S one of the larger box gutter profiles in the range, appropriate for buildings with significant roof catchment areas and where the drainage load demands a very large cross-section. Typically specified on large Victorian civic buildings, churches, industrial heritage sites, and estate buildings.
Sand cast iron, manufactured to BS 460:2002. Supplied in grey primer or black painted finish. Lead times are typically 8–10 weeks. Contact Tuscan Foundry Products to discuss your project requirements before ordering.

The right size depends on the width of your gutter run and the volume of water you need to collect. The Strayton H42A is available in four widths: 305mm (12"), 355mm (14"), 457mm (18"), and 610mm (24"). As a general guide, wider hoppers suit larger roof areas and heavier rainfall zones. If you are unsure, our team can advise based on your gutter profile and catchment area — call 0333 987 4452.
The opener is designed for use with Lumen Rooflights and compatible timber-framed skylights. The telescopic shaft and adjustable mounting bracket allow it to be fitted to a range of rooflight frames. If you have a specific rooflight model, call us on 0333 987 4452 to confirm compatibility.
The Paxton H82 is a large-format hopper with decorative collar mouldings, making it particularly well suited to late Victorian and Edwardian buildings where the rainwater system forms part of the architectural composition. Typical applications include commercial heritage buildings, civic buildings, large detached houses, institutional premises, and warehouse conversions where a more substantial fitting is appropriate.
The Cast Iron Louvre Airbrick suits Victorian, Edwardian, and inter-war residential and commercial properties where the louvre-pattern vent was the standard specification. It is the correct like-for-like replacement on listed buildings and conservation area properties, and suits new heritage-style construction requiring an authentic period ventilation grille.
The H1 is available to accept round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm diameters. The 65mm and 75mm variants measure 305mm wide by 197mm deep and 210mm high. The 100mm variant measures 355mm wide by 230mm deep and 240mm high. A 150mm connection option is also available — please contact the team for dimensions.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available in a choice of finishes including primer, painted, and specialist heritage finishes. Please call us on 0333 987 4452 or submit an enquiry to discuss the right finish for your project.

A hit and miss vent has a sliding plate on the reverse of the grille that can be moved to open or close the ventilation apertures. This allows airflow to be regulated without removing or replacing the grille. The vent can be fully open, partially open, or fully closed depending on ventilation requirements.
For rooflights directly above a worktop or sink, a telescopic screw-jack hand winder is the most practical choice. Available in polished brass, satin chrome, and polished chrome, these openers allow controlled ventilation from a fixed handle position without requiring a pole. The 150mm or 250mm size is typically appropriate for standard-height kitchen rooflights.
