The TFH12S is a large ornate sand cast moulded gutter suited to ecclesiastical buildings, large period properties, and any heritage project requiring a highly decorative large-format gutter profile that standard stock sizes do not provide. The ornate moulded cross-section has a more pronounced and detailed face than the standard TFH12, making it the appropriate specification where architectural decorative character is as important as drainage performance.
Available in a single size: 133×100mm. The single available size reflects the profile’s specific heritage context — it is a specialist replacement or original-specification casting rather than a general-purpose profile, and is typically produced to match an existing installation on a significant listed building.

Linseed oil paint is the most appropriate finish for cast iron guttering on listed and historic buildings. It is breathable, flexible, and penetrating — qualities that suit the movement characteristics of cast iron through seasonal temperature changes. Tuscan Foundry Products offers a curated range of heritage linseed oil colours. For modern applications, a high-quality exterior oil-based paint system over a metal primer is also acceptable.

Traditional Express can be painted, including in our linseed oil finish. LCC is supplied with a black bitumen coating, which cannot be reliably overpainted with conventional paints; maintain it with a compatible bituminous paint. Where a painted soil stack is required, specify Traditional Express.
Premier Extra is our ready-to-fix factory finish — an attractive black semi-gloss coating that needs no painting on site, available across all seven standard gutter profiles and round rainwater pipes. It's also available to special order in a wider range of RAL and BS colours.
