Cast iron square downpipes are the historically correct choice for Georgian and Regency buildings, and for any period property where a square section pipe was the original specification. The square profile has a more formal, rectilinear character than round downpipes — it was particularly fashionable from the late 18th century through the Regency period and remained in use on civic and institutional buildings well into the Victorian era. On stucco-fronted terraces, Regency villas, and formal town houses, the square pipe sits flush against the facade with a precision that round pipes cannot replicate.
The Square Pipe Eared is the standard eared cast iron square downpipe section, featuring integral ears cast into the pipe body for direct wall fixing. The ears allow the pipe to be secured to the wall surface without a separate bracket, giving a neat and period-appropriate fixing method consistent with original Georgian and Regency installations.
Available in three sizes: 75×75mm (3″×3″), 100×100mm (4″×4″), and 125×125mm (5″×5″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Manufactured in cast iron to BS 460:2002. Part codes: SQ3301E, SQ4401E, SQ5501E, XSQ3301E, XSQ4401E, XSQ5501E. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

The satin chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder is well suited to contemporary and transitional interiors where a brushed chrome finish complements modern or minimal ironmongery. It is compatible with Lumen Rooflights and timber-framed skylights.
Cast iron radiators cost no more to run than modern steel or aluminium radiators. Cast iron is a very efficient material at emitting heat, thus you have items like le creuset cast iron pans. Cast iron holds it’s heat extremly well, which means that the radiators stay warm for longer.

The H460 is well suited to Georgian, Regency, and Victorian buildings where a plain, undecorated rectangular hopper is the appropriate choice — particularly listed properties, conservation area buildings, and institutional or commercial buildings in historic town centres. Its clean, restrained form makes it equally appropriate on modern heritage-style construction where period accuracy is required without ornamental detail.
The Brass Rooflight Pole Winder Opener 300mm is a screw-jack operated rooflight opener designed for manual control of timber-framed skylights and Lumen Rooflights. The 300mm fixed arm is suited to standard rooflight positions and is finished in polished brass.
We manufacture a wide variety of brackets for many different cast iron gutter and pipe profiles. More common types are the rise and fall, top fix and side fix rafter and the holderbat or pipe clip.
We can also offer traditional drive brackets, repair brackets and fascia brackets in both steel and cast iron.
It is always advisable to replace like with like because quite often the brackets form and important part of the buildings architecture. Occasionally buildings have special decorative brackets and our UK manufacturing allows us to produce small quantities of bespoke brackets when required.
The School Board Airbrick suits Victorian and Edwardian institutional, civic, and residential buildings where the square-grid airbrick pattern was standard — including school buildings, civic halls, estate housing, terrace houses, and warehouses. It is also appropriate on listed buildings and conservation area properties as a like-for-like replacement for worn square-grid cast iron vents.
The satin chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder opener is available in multiple sizes. The telescopic mechanism adjusts to accommodate varying rooflight positions and throw requirements. For a full list of available sizes, visit tuscanfoundry.com or call 0333 987 4452.
The polished chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder is suited to contemporary, Georgian-revival, and high-specification interiors where a bright chrome finish is required to complement existing ironmongery. It is compatible with Lumen Rooflights and timber-framed skylights.
