Clear

The Rectangular Pipe Ornamental Earband Pattern C is a decorative cast iron collar fitting around a rectangular downpipe, adding a traditional ornamental detail at intervals along the run. Pattern C has a specific moulded profile — one of four ornamental earband patterns (C, D, G, H) available from Tuscan Foundry Products — and is specified where the original installation used ornamental earbands as a design feature, or where a conservation project requires their reinstatement to restore the original appearance of the building elevation.

Commonly found on Victorian and Edwardian civic buildings, churches, country houses, and institutional architecture where decorative pipe detailing was a standard part of the facade treatment. Available in sizes to suit the standard rectangular pipe range. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

What is a corner hopper head and when do I need one?

A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.
