Polished chrome has a bright mirror finish, while satin chrome has a brushed, low-sheen appearance. Both are available in the telescopic hand winder range. The finish choice typically depends on the ironmongery specification for the project.

Cast Iron Moulded46DC
The H16 moulded cast iron gutter is a larger and more decorative version of the common ogee profile. Known as the H16 or No.16 moulded pattern, it shares the elegant S-curve cross-section of the ogee but with a deeper section, more pronounced moulded detail, and significantly greater drainage capacity. It is found on Victorian and Edwardian country houses, manor houses, civic and institutional buildings, hotels, large churches, and any substantial period property where the roof area and rainfall load demanded something beyond the standard common ogee.
This section is 1829mm (6 feet) in length, manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in two profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″) by 100mm Deep ((6″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish as standard. The socket-and-spigot joint connects sections in a run, with union clips and jointing compound completing the watertight seal.
Accepted by conservation officers and listed building authorities as the appropriate heritage material for period properties where the G46 moulded pattern is the historically correct profile. The H16 is a pattern-specific gutter — angles, outlets, stop ends, brackets, and clips must all be from the H16 range, as fittings from the common ogee range are not compatible.
Where an existing H16installation has failed in part, the section can be matched precisely and supplied for a repair-and-replace specification, preserving the character of the original system without full replacement.

Our brackets are more commonly used on cast iron rainwater systems. Unlike plastic, cast iron is heavy and the weight keeps the gutter in position. As such our brackets do not normally have retaining clips which could lead to plastic or lightweight gutters blowing out of the bracket. The profile of your gutter should match that of our bracket but without the weight to keep it in place you may well encounter problems in bad weather.

The Cast Iron Louvre Airbrick (F020802AFC) is available in 225mm × 75mm, 225mm × 150mm, and 225mm × 225mm — standard brick course heights. All sizes share a consistent depth for straightforward like-for-like replacement of original cast iron louvre airbricks.
The H460 is well suited to Georgian, Regency, and Victorian buildings where a plain, undecorated rectangular hopper is the appropriate choice — particularly listed properties, conservation area buildings, and institutional or commercial buildings in historic town centres. Its clean, restrained form makes it equally appropriate on modern heritage-style construction where period accuracy is required without ornamental detail.
The H1A is available with round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm diameters. Please specify your required connection size when ordering, as this determines the SKU. If you are unsure of the correct pipe size for your project, our team can advise — call 0333 987 4452.
The Ornamental Airbrick (OAB) is available in three sizes: 225mm × 75mm (2.8kg), 225mm × 150mm (4.1kg), and 225mm × 225mm (5.8kg). All sizes have a uniform depth of 75mm, making them consistent to install across a subfloor ventilation course.
