90 degree square angle internal or external for the H16 gutter
The H16 No.16 90 degree angle provides a square corner fitting for the Regent No.16 moulded ogee gutter — the large-capacity Victorian heritage profile suited to country houses, civic buildings, churches, schools, and any substantial period property where roof area and rainfall load demand a high-capacity guttering system. The pronounced moulded ogee profile is maintained through the angle, preserving the architectural character of the No.16 at every change of direction.
The H16 has a right-hand internal joint — opposite to the common ogee and Notts OG which carry a left-hand socket. This means internal and external configurations work in the reverse of those other profiles. The 90 degree angle is available as either internal or external, and as the profile is asymmetric it cannot be reversed. Identify the correct configuration for your run before ordering.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in both H16 sizes: 125×100mm (5″×4″) and 150×100mm (6″×4″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. The Paxton H82 is a large-format hopper with decorative collar mouldings, making it particularly well suited to late Victorian and Edwardian buildings where the rainwater system forms part of the architectural composition. Typical applications include commercial heritage buildings, civic buildings, large detached houses, institutional premises, and warehouse conversions where a more substantial fitting is appropriate.
Our brackets are more commonly used on cast iron rainwater systems. Unlike plastic, cast iron is heavy and the weight keeps the gutter in position. As such our brackets do not normally have retaining clips which could lead to plastic or lightweight gutters blowing out of the bracket. The profile of your gutter should match that of our bracket but without the weight to keep it in place you may well encounter problems in bad weather.
Yes. Our telescopic screw-jack openers and pole-operated handles are compatible with Lumen Rooflight systems. They are also suitable for use with other timber-framed rooflights and skylights fitted with appropriate catches or stays. The H543 measures 504mm wide x 185mm deep x 200mm high, making it well suited to wide, shallow proportions that suit box-gutter outlets on period roofs, terraces and commercial premises.
The H542A measures 240mm wide x 240mm deep x 290mm high, making it well suited to a compact square profile suited to smaller Georgian and Victorian properties, extensions and outbuildings.

The Antique Black cast iron version is suitable for external use. The Polished Lacquered version is best suited to interiors or sheltered external locations where the polished finish will be protected from weathering. The Polished Brass version is suited to interior and semi-exposed locations. For external applications on exposed elevations, the Antique Black finish is the recommended specification.
Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.
The louvre face provides directional airflow and offers some resistance to driven rain entering the subfloor void, making it a practical choice for exposed elevations or properties in areas with significant prevailing wind and rainfall. The square-grid (school board) pattern offers a larger open ventilation area but less weather protection.
The satin chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder is well suited to contemporary and transitional interiors where a brushed chrome finish complements modern or minimal ironmongery. It is compatible with Lumen Rooflights and timber-framed skylights.
