The Bagley No.107C is the corner version of our No.107 pattern, drawn for the internal angles where two elevations meet and a flat-backed hopper will not sit.
The body is square and canted, tapering firmly to the outlet beneath a moulded top edge. Its distinguishing feature is a pair of substantial cast bosses standing proud at the upper corners — heavy, rounded studs that give the casting a robust, almost defensive character and catch light sharply against the wall behind. The corner geometry is cast in, not adapted, so the head seats properly into a re-entrant angle without packing or modification on site.
Internal angles are where rainwater problems concentrate on older buildings: two roof slopes discharging into one point, a wall that rarely dries, and a junction that is awkward to inspect. Specifying a corner pattern of adequate capacity is considerably cheaper than repairing the masonry that a chronically overflowing angle will damage.
It suits Victorian domestic and institutional work, estate buildings, courtyards and rear elevations where the architecture is solid rather than refined.
Cast in solid iron to BS 460:2002, supplied in primer or black as standard, with heritage colours and traditional linseed oil finishes available on request.
