The Tuscan Mechanical BS416 Soil range is a coupling-jointed cast iron soil and waste system, dimensionally compatible with BS 416 pipework. Plain-ended pipes and fittings are joined with bolted ductile iron couplings, so there are no caulked or sealed sockets. A stack goes together quickly, and individual fittings can be taken out later without disturbing the rest of the run. Conversion couplings join it to existing socketed LCC pipe, which makes it a practical choice for repairs and extensions to older stacks as well as new work.

The in-house Premier Extra coating is formulated for a life expectancy of around 10 years under normal weather conditions, provided any impact damage or surface scuffing is made good promptly. Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically appropriate choice for listed buildings, and are generally preferred by conservation officers and local planning authorities over modern plastic alternatives. Tuscan Foundry cast iron hopper heads are manufactured in solid grey iron and are suitable for use on listed buildings and within conservation areas. A linseed oil finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for sensitive heritage projects.
