Listed Building Surveys is the practice of Duncan Philips, a historic building surveyor who established the firm in 1987 and has nearly forty years’ experience of traditional, historic and listed buildings. He surveys Grade I, II* and II listed buildings anywhere in England and Wales for buyers and owners, drawing on specialist knowledge of building pathology, and has worked on churches, windmills, castles and stately homes. Surveys look for unauthorised alterations and assess heritage issues alongside condition, using drones and specialist cameras to reach parts of a building that cannot otherwise be seen. Advice on care, repair options and conservation is also offered.
