The Building Restoration Index lists craftsmen, conservation specialists, suppliers and professionals who work on historic, listed and traditional buildings across the UK and beyond. It is used by architects, surveyors, conservation officers, contractors and owners of period properties looking for the right specialist.
How it works
- Complete the form below with your business details, a short description and, ideally, a few photographs of your work.
- We review every application before it is published. We may edit descriptions for length and house style, and we check any memberships or accreditations you list.
- We email you once your listing is live. You can ask us to update or remove it at any time.
Inclusion in the Index is at our discretion and is not a recommendation or endorsement.
Featured listings
Every listing in the Index is free. For businesses that want more visibility, a Featured listing is an optional annual upgrade.
- Pinned above the A–Z listings on every category and county page your business appears in
- Marked “Featured” on your listing and in the results
- Room for more photographs of your work and a longer description
Founding rate: £95 + VAT a year, available to the first 20 businesses and held for their first 12 months. The standard rate thereafter is £150 + VAT a year. Tick the Featured box on the form below and we will send you the details.
