Glasswood

Glasswood, near Yeovil in Somerset, has worked for more than 25 years in the conservation, restoration and reproduction of historic windows and doors. Its work covers leaded light and stained glass windows, stone mullion windows, timber and sash windows, and conservation joinery. It also specialises in replacing, restoring and conserving iron and steel windows, and in window protection. The firm aims to keep as much original glazing as possible and has worked in historically important buildings and churches, with projects ranging from small repairs to schemes worth more than £100,000. A consultancy service provides reports on leaded glazing, metal windows and stone mullions. Its stained glass work included windows from St Luke’s Church for The Box, Plymouth.
