Alan Dickinson MRICS is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Historic Buildings Consultant based in Rye, with a graduate diploma in conservation from the Architectural Association. He has worked in East Sussex and Kent since 1983, when he joined a firm of architects in Rye and Hastings, and set up his own practice in 1991. The practice specialises in heritage statements and assessments of significance, archaeological interpretive reports and historic research in support of listed building consent, building surveys and condition reviews for purchasers, and architectural design and planning for extensions, adaptations and new buildings.
