This large moulded cast iron rainwater system is suitable for larger
buildings and industrial and railway heritage projects, and is available in
the following sizes:

The TFH14Si is a large sand cast moulded cast iron gutter in the 150×150mm size — a deeper, more square-sectioned profile in the TFH14 moulded family. The increased depth relative to face width gives the TFH14Si significant drainage capacity, making it appropriate for buildings with steep roof pitches, large catchment areas, or where a particularly deep gutter section was original to the building.
The 150×150mm size places the TFH14Si in the very large end of the sand cast range — a profile typically encountered on substantial civic buildings, large Victorian institutional architecture, country houses and estate buildings, and industrial heritage projects where standard profiles are simply too small.

Traditional Express (TX) is a cast iron push-fit soil system. Socketless pipes are joined with push-fit sockets and couplings using rubber seals, so there is no caulking on site. LCC uses caulked socket-and-spigot joints and a bitumen coating. TX is quicker to install and can be painted; LCC is the closer match to an original Victorian stack. Yes. Traditional cast iron column radiators are the authentic choice for period interiors, and plain patterns such as the Victorian 4 column are usually preferred by conservation officers. Replacing radiators or altering pipe runs in a listed building may need listed building consent, so speak to the conservation officer before work starts.
Yes — we strongly recommend painting all products before installation to ensure full coverage on every surface, which reduces long-term maintenance. Standard Premier Rainwater products are supplied in a grey metal primer with rust inhibitors and need two undercoats and one top coat (or one undercoat and two top coats) of a good quality exterior paint.
