Cast iron square access pipe in a number of size variations. Our bespoke cast iron square rainwater access pipes are suitable for all period and listed buildings.
The Square Access Pipe is a cast iron square downpipe section with an integral hinged access door, allowing the interior of the pipe to be inspected and cleared without dismantling the run. An essential component on any square downpipe installation where blockages may occur — particularly on buildings with leaf-shedding trees nearby, or on runs that receive discharge from flat roofs or gutters with a tendency to collect debris.
Specified on listed buildings and heritage conservation projects where regular maintenance access to the downpipe run is required without the disruption of pipe removal. Also used in compliance with maintenance specifications that require inspection access at key points in the drainage system.
Available in a range of size variations to suit the standard square pipe range. Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Manufactured in cast iron to BS 460:2002. For specification support and sizing advice, call 0333 987 4452.

The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.
Our brackets are more commonly used on cast iron rainwater systems. Unlike plastic, cast iron is heavy and the weight keeps the gutter in position. As such our brackets do not normally have retaining clips which could lead to plastic or lightweight gutters blowing out of the bracket. The profile of your gutter should match that of our bracket but without the weight to keep it in place you may well encounter problems in bad weather.

Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building grades. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.

The polished chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder is suited to contemporary, Georgian-revival, and high-specification interiors where a bright chrome finish is required to complement existing ironmongery. It is compatible with Lumen Rooflights and timber-framed skylights.
The polished chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder opener is available in multiple sizes. The telescopic mechanism adjusts to accommodate varying rooflight positions and throw requirements. For a full list of available sizes, visit tuscanfoundry.com or call 0333 987 4452.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available in a standard primed and black-painted finish, ready for on-site topcoats. Heritage colour finishes and factory-applied linseed oil paint are available on request. Linseed oil paint is a vapour-permeable, period-appropriate finish particularly well suited to listed buildings and conservation area properties.
The Pultney Tapered Hopper Head is well suited to Georgian and Regency townhouses, Victorian terraces, rural farmhouses, barns, and functional estate buildings where a plain, period-correct hopper is the appropriate specification. It also works well on new heritage-style construction. Its unfussy, chamfered form makes it a versatile choice across a wide range of traditional building types.
