The 610mm eared round rainwater pipe is the shortest standard length in our cast iron downpipe range. It completes a run without site cutting, and covers the short drops between a hopper, an offset and a branch, or above a shoe at ground level.

Each length is cast with a spigot at the foot and a socket at the head, with a pair of fixing ears on the socket. The ears hold the pipe off the wall on bobbins and pipe nails, leaving room to paint behind it and keeping run-off from tracking down the masonry. Because the fixings sit at the joints, the lengths you choose set the fixing pattern on the elevation, and shorter lengths give finer control.

Specify it on Georgian and Victorian terraces, country houses, chapels and civic buildings where the existing downpipes are eared, and on new traditional work matching a surviving system. It combines with the 914mm, 1219mm and 1829mm lengths to make up any height.

Sizes: 65mm (2½″), 75mm (3″) and 100mm (4″) diameter.

Cast in solid grey iron in the UK to BS 460, and supplied primed for site painting or factory black painted. Linseed oil paint finishes can be quoted on request.
