The Rectangular Pipe Front Bend deflects a cast iron rectangular downpipe run in the front plane — moving the pipe away from or towards the wall face. Used where the wall surface changes depth, at projecting string courses, or where the pipe must clear a feature on the building elevation. The rectangular cross-section is maintained through the bend, preserving the flat, low-profile character of the rectangular system at every change of direction.
Available in the standard range of rectangular pipe sizes to suit 75×75mm through to 150×100mm profiles. Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Manufactured in cast iron to BS 460:2002. Yes. Bespoke copy casting is a core service at Tuscan Foundry Products. We can replicate any cast iron gutter, downpipe, hopper head, or fitting from drawings, detailed photographs, or a physical sample or surviving section. Each commission is assessed individually. Lead time is typically 12 to 14 weeks, and quantities as low as a single piece can be considered depending on pattern-making costs.

Our cast iron hopper heads are available with 65mm, 75mm and 100mm round outlets, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm square outlets, and 100x75mm, 125x100mm and 150x125mm rectangular outlets, to match the downpipe already on site or specified for the project.

Our cast iron hopper heads are available in a standard primed and black-painted finish, ready for on-site topcoats. Heritage colour finishes and factory-applied linseed oil paint are available on request. Linseed oil paint is a vapour-permeable, period-appropriate finish particularly well suited to listed buildings and conservation area properties.
