The RB501BH is a side rafter rise and fall bracket for beaded half round cast iron guttering. Where there is no fascia board — on open eaves, traditional Scottish construction types, or where the rafter face is the only available fixing point — the RB501BH mounts directly to the side face of the rafter and provides adjustable support at the correct height for the gutter run. The bracket cup is designed specifically for the beaded half round profile.
Available in four sizes to suit all standard beaded half round gutter profiles: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), 125mm (5″), and 150mm (6″). Zinc-plated steel finish. The threaded rise and fall cup allows precise fall setting at each bracket position independently of the rafter pitch.
Specified on listed buildings and conservation restoration projects across Scotland and northern England where the beaded half round is the historically correct profile. Particularly useful on traditional Scottish vernacular buildings where exposed rafter feet and open eaves are a common construction characteristic.
Compatibility: Beaded half round cast iron gutter 100mm, 115mm, 125mm, 150mm. For project specification, call 0333 987 4452.

We manufacture a wide variety of brackets for many different cast iron gutter and pipe profiles. More common types are the rise and fall, top fix and side fix rafter and the holderbat or pipe clip.
We can also offer traditional drive brackets, repair brackets and fascia brackets in both steel and cast iron.
It is always advisable to replace like with like because quite often the brackets form and important part of the buildings architecture. Occasionally buildings have special decorative brackets and our UK manufacturing allows us to produce small quantities of bespoke brackets when required.

Cast iron radiators cost no more to run than modern steel or aluminium radiators. Cast iron is a very efficient material at emitting heat, thus you have items like le creuset cast iron pans. Cast iron holds it’s heat extremly well, which means that the radiators stay warm for longer.
