The Traditional Express cast iron soil product is an industry leading push fit soil system designed for a lifetime performance. The contemporary cast iron system provides the aesthetic appearance of traditional cast iron soil systems and is suitable for Listed properties and conservation projects.
The TX Long Radius Bend changes the direction of a Traditional Express cast iron push-fit soil pipe run with a gentler, larger-radius curve than the short radius bend. The longer sweep reduces flow resistance and is preferred at the base of a stack where the flow transitions from vertical to horizontal — a lower-turbulence transition improves drainage performance and reduces the risk of siphonage in connected traps. Both ends are spigots for push-fit socket connection.
87.5° standard bend angle. 100mm diameter. Pre-painted black gloss finish. BS 416 Part 2. From £115.19 +VAT. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

Cast iron hopper heads from Tuscan Foundry are available in Standard Black (a factory-applied primer and topcoat finish) and Heritage Colours. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, providing a vapour-permeable, historically authentic coating that is particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. Full finish specifications are available from the team.
Satin chrome has a brushed, low-sheen finish suited to contemporary interiors, while polished chrome has a bright mirror finish. Both are available in the telescopic hand winder range at Tuscan Foundry. The choice typically depends on the existing ironmongery specification.
The Strayton H42A accepts round, square, and rectangular pipe connections. Round: 65mm, 75mm, and 100mm. Square: 75×75mm, 100×100mm, and 125×125mm. Rectangular: 100×75mm, 125×100mm, and 150×100mm. Please specify your required connection size when ordering.
The Iron Works Patterned Hit & Miss Vents are available in two sizes: 225mm × 82mm (single-course, suitable for standard airbrick positions) and 225mm × 150mm (double-course format). Both sizes are available in all three finishes: Antique Black, Polished Lacquered, and Polished Brass.
The opener is designed for use with Lumen Rooflights and compatible timber-framed skylights. The telescopic shaft and adjustable mounting bracket allow it to be fitted to a range of rooflight frames. If you have a specific rooflight model, call us on 0333 987 4452 to confirm compatibility.
The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.
A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.
Cast iron hopper heads are priced on enquiry due to the range of connection and finish options available. Please call us on 0333 987 4452 or use the contact form and we will respond promptly with a quotation tailored to your project requirements.
