Obtuse angle internal or external for H16 moulded gutter
The H16 No.16 135 degree angle provides an obtuse corner fitting for the Regent No.16 moulded ogee gutter, handling bay windows, canted elevations, and building returns that require an obtuse turn. The full moulded H16 profile is maintained through the fitting, preserving the visual weight and character of the No.16 at every junction on the large Victorian and Edwardian buildings where this pattern is most commonly found.
The H16 carries a right-hand internal joint — the reverse of the common OG and Notts OG. Fittings are handed accordingly: internal and external configurations are the mirror of what you would expect from the common ogee range. The 135 degree angle cannot be reversed. Confirm the correct internal or external variant for your installation before ordering.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in both H16 sizes: 125×100mm (5″×4″) and 150×100mm (6″×4″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. For listed buildings and heritage restoration projects where the H16 No.16 is the historically correct profile. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

It is also widely specified for new-build heritage projects where cast iron rainwater goods are required to conservation standard.

Cast iron hopper heads are the historically appropriate choice for listed buildings, and are generally preferred by conservation officers and local planning authorities over modern plastic alternatives. Tuscan Foundry cast iron hopper heads are manufactured in solid grey iron and are suitable for use on listed buildings and within conservation areas. A linseed oil finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for sensitive heritage projects.

The standards for our cast iron gutters and pipes have remained remarkably constant for many years. The physical properties of cast iron are sustained throughout its lifetime thus maintaining its effectiveness. Coupled with is durability and proper maintenance, we would expect our traditional cast iron rainwater products to last for over 50 years under normal conditions.
Yes. The ornamental foliate pattern was widely used in Victorian construction and is appropriate for Grade II listed buildings and conservation area properties. Its decorative character is often preferable to a plain pattern on prominent or formal elevations. We recommend confirming the pattern with your conservation officer as part of any listed building consent application.
Our bespoke rise and fall gutter brackets — including fascia, side rafter, and top rafter variants for Osma Roofline and Osma SuperLine systems — are manufactured to order. The standard lead time is 10–14 working days from receipt of a confirmed order. If you have a programme deadline, please call us on 0333 987 4452 and we will advise on current availability.
We do offer a range of Ogee patterned gutters in both straight and radius profiles. The straight profiles are much more common and as such cost less.
