Cast Iron Moulded46DC
The G46 moulded cast iron gutter is a larger and more decorative version of the common ogee profile. Known as the G46 or No.46 moulded pattern, it shares the elegant S-curve cross-section of the ogee but with a deeper section, more pronounced moulded detail, and significantly greater drainage capacity. It is found on Victorian and Edwardian country houses, manor houses, civic and institutional buildings, hotels, large churches, and any substantial period property where the roof area and rainfall load demanded something beyond the standard common ogee.
This section is 1829mm (6 feet) in length, manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in two profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish as standard. The socket-and-spigot joint connects sections in a run, with union clips and jointing compound completing the watertight seal.
Accepted by conservation officers and listed building authorities as the appropriate heritage material for period properties where the G46 moulded pattern is the historically correct profile. The G46 is a pattern-specific gutter — angles, outlets, stop ends, brackets, and clips must all be from the G46 range, as fittings from the common ogee range are not compatible.
Where an existing G46 installation has failed in part, the section can be matched precisely and supplied for a repair-and-replace specification, preserving the character of the original system without full replacement.
Part codes: G4301, G5401, XG4301, XG45401, Moulded 46DC, G830. For specification support or a project quotation, call 0333 987 4452.

The standards for our cast iron gutters and pipes have remained remarkably constant for many years. The physical properties of cast iron are sustained throughout its lifetime thus maintaining its effectiveness. Coupled with is durability and proper maintenance, we would expect our traditional cast iron rainwater products to last for over 50 years under normal conditions.

The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.
Rooflight opener handles are available in polished brass, polished chrome, and satin chrome finishes. The polished brass version is the most popular choice for heritage and period interiors. For the full range, visit tuscanfoundry.com or call 0333 987 4452.
The opener is designed for use with Lumen Rooflights and compatible timber-framed skylights. The telescopic shaft and adjustable mounting bracket allow it to be fitted to a range of rooflight frames. If you have a specific rooflight model, call us on 0333 987 4452 to confirm compatibility.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available in a standard primed and black-painted finish, ready for on-site topcoats.
