A genuine cast iron rainwater pattern the G46 or No.46 is available in two profile sizes. The profile is a larger version of the more traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern and offers increased capacity.

The cast iron G46 moulded gutter drop end outlet provides a downpipe connection at the end of a G46 gutter run, used where the run terminates and drainage drops to a downpipe from the end section rather than from a central nozzle outlet. The G46 moulded profile is maintained at the terminal point, completing the installation consistently on the large Victorian and Edwardian properties where this pattern is standard.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in both G46 profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. The G46 drop end outlet is not interchangeable with common ogee fittings.
Specified on listed buildings and heritage restoration projects where the G46 moulded pattern is the historically correct profile. Accepted by conservation officers as the appropriate fitting for period rainwater work.

Yes, provided they are sized for the lower water temperature. Outputs are published at ΔT50; at ΔT30 a section gives about half that, so heat pump systems usually need more sections or a deeper pattern. We can prepare a radiator schedule at your heat pump design temperature.
Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.

Tuscan Foundry's cast iron hopper heads are available in Standard Black and Heritage Colour finishes. A linseed oil paint finish is also offered — a sustainable, vapour-permeable option particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. A corner hopper head collects rainwater from two gutters running at right angles and channels it into a single downpipe. They are typically required at internal roof valleys, on hipped roofs, and wherever two runs of gutter converge at a corner. The Regent H1A is designed specifically for this application and is sized to suit the most common gutter profiles.
