This drive-in rise and fall bracket for cast iron guttering is a British-manufactured mild steel bracket for cast iron rainwater goods. Supplied in silver zinc plated finish as standard.

Our range includes top fix, side fix, rise and fall, fascia, repair and drive brackets as well as pipe clips for cast iron rain and soil pipe. Brackets are available in a range of profiles including Half Round, Ogee (OG), Deep Half Round, Notts Ogee, Moulded (G46), Beaded and Box gutter profiles.

This product consists of a rise and fall cup and a standard 12″ (305mm) drive spike. It can be used with a separate understay if required.
The cup is manufactured from 20mm x 3mm steel and has an 10mm threaded bar on the underside. The length of the threaded piece is approx 130mm. The drive bracket is manufactured from 20mm x 5mm steel and has a hole approx 15mm from the end to accept the threaded bar of the cup piece. If required the understay piece fixes below the drive spike. The understay is produced in 20mm x 3mm steel. There is a 6mm hole in the flat end of the understay to allow fixing to the wall and an 10mm hole at the other end to accept the threaded bar of the cup.
Brackets are supplied zinc plated in silver for on site painting by others.

Available in two sizes: 225mm x 82mm (single airbrick course height) and 225mm x 150mm (double course height). Both sizes fit standard brick coursing positions and install flush into the wall face.
Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for use on all listed building classes. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.
Yes. Churches and ecclesiastical buildings are one of our most common project types. We regularly supply large sand cast gutters, rectangular and square downpipes, and bespoke hopper heads for church restorations. Many churches have non-standard profiles that require copy casting. We work directly with architects, church fabric advisors, and quinquennial inspection surveyors. Historic England and many Diocesan Advisory Committees specify cast iron as the appropriate material for listed ecclesiastical buildings.

Yes. Our telescopic screw-jack openers and pole-operated handles are compatible with Lumen Rooflight systems. They are also suitable for use with other timber-framed rooflights and skylights fitted with appropriate catches or stays. Hopper heads are supplied in red oxide primer ready for on-site painting, or pre-finished in black. A full range of Heritage Colours in traditional linseed oil paint is also available on request — please contact us for the swatch chart.
Yes. Cast iron hopper heads are the historically correct choice for listed and period buildings, and a like-for-like cast iron replacement is generally accepted without objection by conservation officers. We manufacture to BS 460 for genuine heritage character and durability.
All of our cast iron radiators are availbale as standard with a 1/2″ BSP (15mm) connection. We are though also able to supply many of our radiators and valves with 3/4″ BSP connections. Due to the size proportions of some radiators and valves 3/4″ connections may be more suitable.
Our cast iron airbricks are supplied in primed finish, ready for on-site painting. This allows them to be finished to match the existing ironwork or masonry colour of the building. Standard black gloss is the most common finish for conservation and heritage projects.
