The TX Boss Pipe Single provides a straight cast iron push-fit pipe section with a single integral 2″ BSPT threaded boss, allowing a smaller waste or overflow pipe to connect directly into the soil stack at any height without a branch fitting. The boss is located on the face of the pipe; the main pipe ends are spigots for push-fit socket connection. Used where a single small-bore connection is required into the stack at a point between branches.

Casting of iron is an imperfect processs. It is possible with some cast iron radiators that you will get minor imperfections in the surface finish. When radiators are painted this will reduce and over the years every additional coat of paint applied will provide a smoother more equal finish.
