West End Services

West End Services Ltd is a sash window company working mainly in the West End of Glasgow, repairing and restoring traditional and tenement sash windows. Established in 2000, it uses a 20-point restoration system for full overhauls, with draught-proofing available as part of a restoration or on its own where windows are in good repair. Repairs include sash cord renewal, made-to-order full windowsills and timber repairs matched to the existing, replacement top or bottom sashes, traditional mastic and pointing renewal, seasonal exterior painting, stone repairs to window surrounds, freeing jammed windows and servicing Simplex opening systems. Traditional hardware and discreet child and security locks can also be fitted. A surveyor visits to prepare a written report and quotation. Owners of Glasgow tenement flats and period houses wanting to keep original sash windows may find the firm a practical local option.
