Touchstone Glazing, trading as Touchstone Glazing Solutions Ltd, makes thermally efficient double glazing for historic buildings at its workshop in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, and has more than 25 years’ experience on Grade I, II* and II listed buildings. Its Insulead fixed units have a fully soldered lead perimeter and fit directly into stone mullions without a frame; Steelyte opening casements are made in-house from stainless steel. Both systems have been tested and approved by Historic England. Projects include the Grade I listed Halifax Piece Hall, where the firm worked with LDN Architects on the mullion and tracery windows and a five-metre rose window.
