Then Now When is an architecture practice combining conservation, heritage expertise and sustainable design. James has more than 20 years of experience with historic buildings and advises on listed buildings and projects in conservation areas. The practice researches the history of a building and its setting before design work begins, and acts either as project architect or as a separate conservation consultant to other architects. Anna is a certified Passive House Designer with a Masters in Green Building from the Centre for Alternative Technology, and the practice advises on making listed and historic homes more sustainable using natural materials. Projects include an extension and loft conversion in Widcombe, Bath.
