The Sash Window Restoration Specialist (James Lonsdale)

The Sash Window Restoration Specialist is the business of James Lonsdale, based in Leeds, who restores, repairs, draught-proofs and paints original period sash windows in and around Leeds and across West Yorkshire. The business works on the basis of restoring existing windows rather than replacing them, keeping original timber sashes and frames in use while improving their fit and performance. This makes it a relevant contact for owners of Victorian, Edwardian and older houses in the region, and for agents and conservation-minded clients who want original windows retained, overhauled and decorated rather than swapped for new units.
