The Sash Restoration Co. Ltd

The Sash Restoration Co. Ltd designs and manufactures traditional timber box sash windows, incorporating its own heritage double-glazed units. The company states that these units are recognised and endorsed by conservation officers and planners as a way of upgrading and retrofitting protected period buildings. Production takes place in several of its own workshops, each equipped with the tools and machinery needed for the different stages of manufacture, and windows are supplied fully finished. The firm presents its work as grounded in the history of the box sash and aimed at period properties where the appearance of traditional joinery needs to be kept.
