Sustainable Heritage Conservation

Sustainable Heritage Conservation is a consultancy formed in 2026 by two conservators who have worked together independently since 2009. It specialises in preventive conservation for collections and the historic buildings and interiors that house them, including environmental management, monitoring and control, analysis of environmental data and the sustainable use of spaces that hold collections. Services also cover conservation planning, project design, training and professional support for collection care practitioners. Its directors have backgrounds with the National Trust, the National Trust for Scotland and the Scottish Museums Council, and work with partners in heritage and archaeology consultancy and engineering. Enquiries are handled through the contact form on its site.
