Smith Heritage

Smith Heritage is a family construction firm in Whitchurch, Hampshire. It traces its building work back to 1795, when a forebear of director Ed Smith rebuilt Barton Stacey after a fire. The firm restores listed buildings and scheduled monuments with traditional techniques, using its own skilled craftspeople and specialist subcontractors. It also works on country homes, interiors, new builds, landscape and leisure projects. It keeps an in-house construction historian and a library of rare historic trade texts, and offers consultancy on difficult heritage projects. A company director oversees each project.
