Sash Window Repair & Draught Proofing London

Sash Window Repair & Draught Proofing London is run by John, who has repaired, refurbished and draught-proofed sash windows in London for around 20 years, working with a small team of window fitters. Restoration work covers wood rot, loose sash joints, pulleys, sash cords, glass, weight balancing and putty. Rotten sills and frame sections are patched or replaced using rot detection equipment. Stuck sashes are removed, planed and waxed, and rattles are cured. The draught proofing method uses brushes set in grooves cut at varying depths into the sashes, so that uneven older windows seal consistently while the brushes stay hidden. Painting is also offered, with sashes removed from inside.
