Sash Restorer

Sash Restorer is a Dorset sash window repair and restoration business run by Frank Kent. Services include full sash restoration, timber splicing and rot repair, cill repair and replacement, sash cord replacement, draught-proofing, parting and staff bead replacement, reglazing and putty repairs, paint stripping and repainting, and repairs to locks, fittings and casement windows. The approach is to repair rather than replace, retaining as much original timber, glass and detail as possible. The business describes itself as a listed and heritage specialist, using materials and methods suitable for listed buildings and conservation areas, and has worked on a Grade II listed building in Wareham.
