Original Sash Window Solutions Ltd was founded by Roger in 2007 to restore original sash windows, and was joined in 2011 by Gary, a carpenter and joiner from a sash restoration background. The firm now has a team of directly employed craftsmen. It aims to keep as much original joinery as possible, splicing in rot-resistant stabilised timber, in line with the approach of Historic England and local conservation officers. Services include repair and restoration, draught proofing, double glazing, secondary glazing and paint finishing. Where replacement is needed, it is FENSA approved to make replica windows. The firm states it is a member of Trading Standards’ Buy With Confidence scheme.
