Nightingale Joinery is a bespoke joinery workshop near Colchester, started by Paul and Deirdre in 2007, with a workshop manager who has more than 40 years of experience. The firm makes heritage joinery, bespoke staircases and custom furniture by hand, and specialises in wreathed and curved staircases. It also takes on large-scale restoration and renovation work, has worked in conservation areas, and advises on meeting council guidelines for restoration projects so that new work matches the character of older properties. The team works with architects and designers across Colchester, London, East Anglia and the Home Counties, and states it is CHAS and Safe Contractor accredited and an Accoya approved manufacturer.
